Meet Zoe Paravalos

Life can feel overwhelming, especially during periods of change, uncertainty, or when we find ourselves struggling in ways we never expected. Zoe believes that you do not have to navigate those moments alone. She creates a warm, non-judgmental space where clients can slow down, feel heard, and make sense of what they are experiencing. Together, she works with clients to understand the stories that have shaped them, reconnect with their strengths and values, and identify meaningful steps toward the life they want to build. She believes that people are more than the challenges they are facing and that, even in difficult seasons, there is room for growth, change, and hope.

Zoe has worked with adolescents and adults in both community mental health and private practice settings, offering client-centred counselling services grounded in trauma-informed care. She works extensively in the assessment and treatment of individuals experiencing anxiety, stress, mood difficulties, emotional dysregulation, and challenges related to major life transitions.

Zoe holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. Zoe takes a warm, holistic, and integrative approach to therapy, drawing from evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Narrative, Solution-Focused, Cognitive Behavioural, Person-Centered, and Strengths-Based therapies. Her professional background includes providing comprehensive psychosocial assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, delivering short and long-term therapeutic support, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams across healthcare and community systems.

In her spare time, Zoe enjoys spending time with her family, exploring farmers’ markets, and trying new recipes.
