Sara received her Master of Social Work from Wilfrid Laurier University and has vast experience supporting adolescents (15+) and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, phobias, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), low self-esteem, eating disorders/disordered eating, and other mental health concerns. She has worked in private practice, community, and hospital settings, including within a specialized hospital-based eating disorders program, where she collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care. Sara is committed to providing evidence-based, compassionate therapy tailored to each client’s unique experience and goals.

Additionally, Sara has extensive experience in harm reduction, as well as working with folks within the 2SLGBTQ+ community. She has also supported individuals newly diagnosed with HIV/AIDS by helping them navigate the healthcare system, access community resources, and build supportive networks during significant life transitions.

Sara is deeply committed to equity, inclusion, and social justice. She believes that effective therapy is built on collaboration, authenticity, and trust, and strives to create a warm, affirming, and non-judgmental space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered. She respects clients’ autonomy and recognizes that every person’s experiences, identities, and goals are unique. Sara considers it a privilege to work alongside clients in their healing journey and is dedicated to providing compassionate, client-centred care.

In her down time, Sara enjoys travelling, reading, spending time with loved ones, and re-watching the same four sitcoms.
