Transformation Counselling Refund Policy
At Transformation Counselling, we strive to provide flexible, fair, and transparent policies while respecting the time and care of both our clients and clinicians. Please review the following refund guidelines:
Late Cancellations & Missed Appointments
Late cancellation and missed appointment fees are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Refunds or fee waivers may be approved by your clinician in situations involving extenuating circumstances, such as:
Illness or medical emergencies
Hospitalization
Unexpected external barriers preventing attendance
If you believe your situation qualifies, please reach out and we will be happy to review it with you.
New Client Setup Cost
The new client setup fee is fully refundable if you choose not to continue therapy after your first session.
Therapy & Health Service Sessions
All completed therapy and health service sessions are non-refundable.
Session Packages
For prepaid session packages:
Any unused sessions are fully refundable
The cost of completed sessions will be deducted at the full session rate (non-discounted)
Example:
If you purchase a 6-session package and attend 4 sessions, the remaining balance for 2 unused sessions will be refunded after adjusting for the full rate of the sessions used.
Psychological Assessments
Psychological assessments are billed based on an hourly breakdown and follow a similar structure to session packages:
Any completed assessment time is non-refundable
Any unused portion is fully refundable
Example:
If your assessment is quoted at 16 hours and 8 hours have been completed, the remaining 8 hours are fully refundable.
How to Request a Refund

We will guide you through the process and confirm the refundable amount.
Processing Time
Please note that once a refund is issued, it may take a few business days to appear in your account, depending on your bank and payment provider.
