Megan’s Biography:

Megan understands that life can feel overwhelming, and that starting a healing journey isn’t always easy. With lived experience as a first responder, she brings a unique depth of empathy and trauma-informed care to her work. She recognizes how stress, life transitions, identity shifts, and challenges with self-esteem, and body image, can deeply impact our well-being.

Her approach is grounded in compassion, collaboration, directness, and authenticity. She believes that each person is the expert of their own story and works alongside her clients as they explore their experiences, values, and goals – supporting them in moving toward a life that feels meaningful and aligned.

Megan is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. She holds a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. She brings ten years of experience working across various fields, including youth mental health, the criminal justice system, and supporting individuals living with disabilities.

She draws from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to tailor her approach to each client’s unique needs. Megan is dedicated to creating a safe, warm, and non-judgmental space where clients can explore their emotions openly and connect with all parts of themselves, while building resilience and navigating life’s challenges with confidence and support.

Outside of the therapy room, Megan enjoys staying active through the gym and spin classes, reading and watching psychological thrillers, travelling, and spending time with family and friends.
