Growing psychology team serves adults and children in Kitchener-Waterloo, Cambridge and Ottawa

WATERLOO, ON, October 2026

Transformation Counselling has hired 15+ psychologists to help more adults and children get ADHD, autism and psychoeducational assessments. The larger team gives families and adults in Kitchener-Waterloo, Cambridge and Ottawa more options when they are looking for answers about attention, learning and development.

Many people wait a long time to find out why focus, school, work or daily life feels harder than it should. An assessment by a registered psychologist can help explain what is going on and point to practical next steps, such as school or workplace supports and treatment recommendations.

With the new psychologists, Transformation Counselling offers:

ADHD assessments for adults and children in Kitchener-Waterloo and Cambridge, with child assessments for ages 6 and up.
ADHD assessments for adults and children in Ottawa, at the downtown office at 1 Rideau St, 7th Floor, with child assessments for ages 6 and up.
Adult autism assessments in Kitchener-Waterloo.
Psychoeducational assessments for children, teens and adults in Kitchener-Waterloo and Cambridge, which can help identify learning disabilities and support requests for academic or workplace accommodations.

Transformation Counselling's psychologists and nurse practitioners also complete the OSAP Disability Verification Form for post-secondary students who need it.

"Getting clear answers should not be the hardest part of asking for help. Bringing more than 15 psychologists onto our team means more adults, children and families can understand how their minds work and get support that fits," said Tyler Ford, Executive Director of Transformation Counselling.

Children can be seen from age 6, in person or online. Many insurance plans cover psychological services, depending on the plan. People can check their own plan with their insurer.
