Wallace’s Biography:

As a young person, Wallace Earle experienced the positive effects and the value of accessing counselling services. Therapy gave him the tools to navigate the effects of a difficult childhood. His experience inspired him to help others and influenced his post-secondary education path. This desire was further cemented after sustaining a spinal cord injury during his second year of university (t6 complete paraplegic). If not for the power of peer connections and the help of a great social worker, he doesn’t believe he would be where he is today.

Wallace has worked as a social worker in different capacities, working with individuals who have neurological disabilities (mild traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury and stroke), and those who have experienced trauma. He is currently providing virtual therapy on a part-time basis, maintaining his focus on supporting the disability community. He draws from multiple modes of therapy as appropriate, including, but not limited to, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Narrative Therapy.

Wallace earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Brock University and Master of Social Work from Wilfrid Laurier University. He is a Registered Social Worker (RSW) with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) and a member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers (OASW).
